Technology Concierge II
At Dual Path Connected Solutions, we help senior living operators modernize technology across their communities through managed IT, networking, infrastructure, voice, and connected resident experiences.
For over 13 years, we’ve partnered with senior living organizations nationwide to simplify technology operations, improve reliability, and create better experiences for both staff and residents. We are headquartered in Phoenix and support clients nationwide through a highly collaborative, service-focused team.
We’re looking for a Technology Concierge II at a premier Senior Living Community in Cupertino, California, to help strengthen executive client relationships, guide long-term technology planning, and support strategic growth across the organization.
About the Role
Dual Path provides an upscale senior living community in the heart of Silicon Valley with a campus-wide network, phone, and television services. We are looking for an exceptional technologist to join us on-site full-time to help launch these new services. Once launched, this person will stay on as the community's technology concierge and provide day-to-day support.
This is not a break/fix position. Many of the residents here spent their careers building the technology industry, and they expect service that matches the standard of the community they chose. Our team is committed to providing excellent service and compassionate support. How you support each resident will make a difference and will help their neighbor feel they can call you when they have a challenge, too.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely and exceptionally good with technology. Someone who has never met a device they couldn't figure out and who is equally good at discerning people who expect excellence.
You will be our on-site point person, with a full team to support these residents in your off-time as well.
What You'll Do
Through the build (planned through 2027)
You work on campus every day to a weekly plan set by our project manager, side by side with the community's own IT team.
- Receive and stage equipment as it arrives, reconcile it against the order, and keep inventory and serial numbers exact.
- Clean up, label, and document the wiring closets before, during, and after the work.
- Inventory every phone on campus, office by office and apartment by apartment, then program, place, and swap handsets at cutover.
- Diagnose and repair legacy phone lines at the jack or punch-down block: re-terminate, replace, and log the fix.
- Configure printers, phones, TV boxes, and endpoints to our engineers' standards, then mount, patch, and power them.
- Work alongside our installers and engineers as access points, switches, and TV equipment go in.
- Stand on the floor for every building cutover. You respond first, resolve what you can, and escalate the rest to our network operations center.
- Coordinate in-apartment work and keep residents and care staff informed throughout.
- Bring residents and staff onto the new services as each area goes live — laptops, tablets, phones, wearables, smart home gear, and TVs.
- Survey apartments with the community's team to document what exists today: lines and numbers, TVs and boxes, and any unusual wiring.
- Document how the new systems work and train the community's IT team.
- Log your work every day.
Once the build is complete
The role turns fully toward people. You become the community's in-house technology concierge, and the first in-person stop for residents and staff.
- Deliver one-on-one, in-apartment support for Wi-Fi, voice, television, and personal devices—on the resident's schedule, at the resident's pace.
- Onboard new residents and everything they move in with, from an iPhone to a home office to a full smart-home setup.
- Run small-group training and office hours and translate technology into plain language without ever sounding like you are talking down.
- Support and mentor the residents' own volunteer technology group.
- Serve as an extra set of expert hands for the community's IT team.
Who You Are
- Exceptional with technology. You have deep, practical range and real curiosity. Unfamiliar hardware doesn't faze you; you read the manual, test, and solve it. This is a senior-level concierge role, and the technical bar is high.
- Hospitality-minded. You carry yourself like the best concierge at a five-star hotel. You are polished, discreet, unhurried, and you follow up before anyone has to ask.
- Gracious under pressure. Residents here have high expectations, and you love to rise to the challenge. You always listen first, then say honestly what you can do.
- Patient and warm with seniors. You can explain the same thing a third time as if it were the first, without jargon and without condescension.
- Credible with sophisticated residents. Many residents built this industry. You can hold a real conversation with a retired engineer and still be gentle with a resident who is new to a tablet.
- Easy to work beside. You will sit with a small IT team every day, and they should be glad you are there.
- Hands-on. You are as comfortable with a punch-down tool, a label maker, and a stack of boxes as you are with a laptop.
- Meticulous. Inventory, serial numbers, daily logs. Nothing goes missing on your watch.
- Steady on your own. You are often the only Dual Path person on site. You work without supervision, and you call our engineers rather than guess when something is past what you know.
- Discreet. You work inside people's homes and in clinical areas, and you treat both with the utmost professionalism.
What You Bring
Required
- 4+ years of hands-on technology support: help desk, field service, high-end residential or executive support, IT for a school or small business, or similar.
- Genuine breadth across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, home and business Wi-Fi, mesh and mobile networks, printers, streaming and smart TVs, and desk phones. Range matters more than depth in any one stack.
- Comfort with the connected home: streaming services, smart speakers and displays, hearing-aid and accessibility pairing, tablets, wearables, and the occasional very unusual setup.
- Proven service record with a demanding clientele — luxury hospitality, private client, executive support, premium retail tech support, or an equivalent environment.
- Able to lift equipment boxes up to 50 pounds and work from a ladder.
- Able to pass the background check, fingerprinting, and tuberculosis screening required to work in a licensed senior care setting in California.
- Compassionate and empathetic to customer needs.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred
- Phone system or VoIP experience, including handset programming.
- Low-voltage fundamentals: punch-downs, jacks, patch panels. We will teach you if you do not have them.
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, luxury hospitality, or private residential technology.
- A+, Network+, Apple ACSP, or comparable certification.
If you are the person your whole family, your friends, and their friends call when something stops working, and you have the range and the polish to back it up, we want to hear from you.
What This Role Is Not
- Not network engineering. Our engineers design and run the network.
- Not corporate IT. Servers, email, and business and clinical applications are handled by others.
- Not construction. Licensed crews handle new cable runs and electrical work.
- Not a desk job. You will be busy delivering support in residents’ units and across the campus.
Compensation and Terms
- Salary range: $95,000 to $112,500 annually based on experience
- Full-time with Benefits – Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), AD&D insurance, PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays.
- You will be based in the Cupertino community's IT office with a desk, dedicated storage, and a workbench.
- You report to Dual Path's project manager and partner day-to-day with the community's IT team.
- Starts in fall 2026, when construction begins. After the build, the role continues as the community's on-site technology concierge if the community keeps the service.
